Distraction is a familiar difficulty in prayer. When you notice it, return your attention to God without turning the whole prayer into a battle with your thoughts.
A little more context
You can simplify the setting, choose a short passage or pray a familiar prayer slowly. Tiredness, stress and household demands affect attention. A modest routine that fits your circumstances is often easier to sustain than an ambitious plan you repeatedly dread.
A practical beginning
Try five minutes today. Put the phone aside if possible, make the Sign of the Cross, and tell God one thing honestly. When your mind wanders, return to a word such as “Jesus” and continue.
