The liturgical year draws the Church through the mysteries of Christ’s life, death and Resurrection. Sunday and the celebration of Easter have a central place in that rhythm.
A little more context
Advent, Christmas, Lent, the Paschal Triduum, Easter and Ordinary Time shape the Church’s worship. Saints’ celebrations also help the faithful follow Christ. Local calendars and obligations can differ, so a family activity plan should not be treated as an official parish calendar.
A practical beginning
Choose one home practice for the current season: a short Advent prayer, a Lenten act of service or an Easter visit to someone who is alone. Use your parish calendar to confirm feast days and Mass times.
